Within a wide bulk of commissions for advertising campaigns, identities, books covers or art pieces for media I work combining letter shapes, color, composition and texture to communicate a certain thing, to tell a story.
I grew up in Buenos Aires, studied Communication Design in Barcelona and graduated from the Type & Media Master in The Netherlands before finally settling down in Berlin. I founded my studio here and I enjoy working in three different languages for private clients, agencies, magazines and publishing houses around the Globe.
When not doing commercial commisions I might be spending my time on designing a new typeface, preparing a keynote presentation or updating one of my self-initiated projects. I’m a co-founder of the project ‘Lettering vs Calligraphy’, I carry out ‘My font Project’ at University HS Anhalt, I run my own series of Workshops in lettering design called ‘Good Type’ and some other blogs where I share my work and the work of others. I travel quite a bit to present my work at conferences and to hold workshops to help designers grow their set of skills and improving their design process.
